Thanks Susan, I wanted people to know that there is a whole life cycle of a book, the ideas that come before, the process of writing, and the aftermath. Yes, it is lots of work, most of it joyful, and very gratifying to know that my writing, that our stories, reach out to others and affect them somehow. I wish we had had a chance to connect at the SCN conference too, and I appreciate your note. Keep writing!

Linda Joy, I'm glad to know more about your book-publishing history, because it's clear that you're a person who has put plenty of energy and time and heart into making this publication happen. Kudos to you! Your beautiful writing in Don't Call Me Mother was powerful. I know this book will be, too. I hope it finds many readers.
We met at the Journal Conference in Denver, and again through Story Circle Network's conferences, including the wonderful event just last weekend in Austin. I didn't get a chance to thank you for presenting an inspiring and useful workshop. So…thank you. I'm sincerely appreciative of that experience. Your willingness to share yourself, and to offer support and information, was something I especially appreciated.
So, again, congratulations on finding the publisher you deserve.
Best wishes,
Susan
