Women’s Right to Vote

votesforwomenToday is the Anniversary of the passing of the Amendment to the US Consitution that gave women the right to vote.  Perhaps not many reading this post were around when the 19th Amendment to the Constitution passed, but most of us have voted in a US election.

As soon as we heard the news of Senator Kennedy’s passing, we couldn’t help but start exchanging the stories that impacted our own personal histories. We wondered how the many events that fill the legacy that is the Kennedy family will shape our own memoirs.

The Kennedy Family’s legacy spans generations. From John & Bobby in the 50’s and 60’s to JFK Jr., in the 90’s, and even in recent months as Caroline considered her run for Senate.
